About Esri…
Esri (he/him) is a Queer and Trans Personal Stylist with a deep passion for using style as a tool for empowerment. Esri’s journey to personal styling is deeply personal—growing up as a Queer and Trans Survivor, he spent years hiding his true self. In his early 20s, Esri made a transformative decision: to stop apologizing for their identity and instead, embrace it fully. Style became a powerful tool in this journey, helping him build confidence, celebrate his identities, and improve his relationship with himself and the world around him.
After experiencing the transformative power of style first hand, Esri became a qualified personal stylist and founded Gaze in 2020 with the mission of helping others feel empowered by fashion. With over ten years of professional experience in charity and social sectors, Esri brings unique interpersonal skills to personal styling, ensuring a transformational experience that goes beyond aesthetics.
Esri is deeply committed to supporting individuals in their journey toward self-acceptance and confidence. He is passionate about how personal style can empower people to feel their best—inside and out—while offering guidance for creating a wardrobe that reflects their true self. As a Trans Personal Stylist, Esri uses his own lived experiences to create a compassionate, inclusive, and affirming styling experience for all clients, no matter where they are on their journey.
